It's finally here!

I'm finally leaving! Utah tonight- MTC tomorrow
morning @ 11:30 am. I am so so excited, but a little
nervous as well. :) I want to just thank everyone for
their love and support with my mission! I have just
been overwhelmed by the love and support from family
and friends. Thank you so much. I'll be sending some pics
from Ukraine and my sister should be
posting some pics every once in a while on the blog to
keep y'all posted! May God bless everyone in their
lives in the next year and a half!

I'm coming!

Can I just say that life moves too fast? Sheesh! I just barely had my call in February and now I leave in about a month to Ukraine! My days in Idaho are winding down....and I'm headed home next week to stay for 2 1/2 weeks until I leave. I have to say, I don't know if anyone or shall I say any "woman" has had every type of emotion going through you at one time. Scared, excited, nervousness, comfort, uncertainty, happiness, longing, love, and sadness.That is EXACTLY how I feel. As I have talked to the many people about my mission, I have come to the understanding that the Lord puts you where he wants you at the right timing. I know I'm going to miss my family and friends here, but I am grateful that the Lord has given me this opportunity to serve. So... the countdown is starting! I feel like I can finally start that after getting my call almost 5 months ago! :) July 15 will come soon!

GRAD and AZ!

Wow. I can't believe I am finished with college.
Graduation was awesome, Elder Neil Anderson
spoke at commencement. It was really good. My
Mom and Dad were able to come down, that was
awesome to have them. The past week has been
crazy. Two of my roommates got married the week-
end of graduation, and after their receptions, we
got in the car and started out on the 14 hr drive
to Arizona! It was a LONG drive. We had an
awesome time though. We went cliff jumping,
went to the Grand Canyon, and went to the deer
farms. We slept one night at a wigwam motel. It
rocked. The whole week was crazy! It was so windy
in Arizona. We got pretty good weather on monday
but the rest of the time it was pretty cold. This week
I realized how attached I am to my car and phone....
right before we left for AZ, the clutch went out on my
car, and the night we were sleeping at the wigwams,
I dropped my cell phone in the toilet! That was the same
night I accidentally used the mens restroom in Denny's.
The morning before that I woke up with a sore throat!
Wow. It was actually really funny. My roommates and
I laughed so hard the whole week. We had an awesome
time. We spent time at Tia's house with her family and they
are so awesome.

we put quarters in machines to feed them and
they would hear them and about run you over
to get the food


Cliff jumping! this is me jumping and Kim (one
of tia's friends that went with us is standing
behind me. I have never ever felt water that
cold before.

The wigwams!

This is a place we stopped at on the way. It is

called Horseshoe bend. it was so so pretty. It

doesn't look tall from the picture, but we were

pretty far up. it was amazing.

Good times.

So... as I have been contemplating the HUGE
changes in my life ( 1) graduation (2) Mission. My
thoughts have changed to the past few years of my
life in rexburg! So many good times and so many
awesome people have come in and out of my life.
I am so thankful for the time I have had a BYUI!

Sister Clark has been called...

I AM GOING TO UKRAINE!

I have been called to serve in the Ukraine, Kyiv
Mission! I leave July 15th to the MTC in Provo
to learn the Ukrainian language. My mission is huge!!
It is about 800 by 700 miles and borders the Black
Sea. They are building a temple in Ukraine and
they said it should be finished spring of 2010! So
I will be there when it is dedicated.
This.... is where I am going to be spending the
next 1 1/2 years of my life. How grateful I am
for the Lord's hand in my life. I feel like this
is where I'm supposed to be!!

I opened my call on Friday when I got

home from work! I was so excited! It was

SUCH a neat experience to open my call. How

awesome to have a calling straight from the

prophet. I was so glad to have my family there.

I think my mom almost fell off the couch. Wow.

I will be in the MTC for 3 months learing the language

which means I will make it the Ukraine in mid

October! I am excited to eat Borsch, live by

the sea, be in really humid weather, and especially

to preach the Gospel!!!!!!

A short Thank you

I just feel like I need to express my gratitude
for so many things in my life right now. I think
it is so often that we get caught up in every
detail of our lives, that really don't matter.
I know I get that way sometimes, and think
I can do everything by myself. -Not true! I
forget the many blessings I have...
- A loving Family
-The beautiful surroundings of nature
-Health and Strength
- A Healthy mind
-Coming home to my family
- A Safe place to live
-Modern Technology! ( what would we do without it? )
-Righteous Ancestors
-The Restoration of this wonderous gospel
-The opportunity to get an education
-Music
-The hand of the Lord in my life.
-My nephews :)
-The opportunity to sustain myself
-The Atonement
-Challenges that I am given, even though
I really do hate them at the time :)
-The Book of Mormon
-Any Children! They are such a blessing!
-Moms
-Dads
-Missionary Work ( I get my call in a few days!)
-Rainy Days
-I am grateful that my body allows my to exercise!
-Snowy Days
-Sunny Days
-Star Valley WY
-Good friends that will do anything for you
-Make-up and curling irons! Wow. The things the
pioneers lived without.

I feel like these blessings that are listed are so
small in comparison to the ones that I am blessed
with each day. I guess I just posted this because
I feel like the world is getting a little less grateful
for the things we have, and I sometimes feel ungrateful.
Please post the things you are grateful for! I think we
will be amazed at how many blessings we really
can find in our busy lives. :)

Happy New Year...(a little late!)

So the holidays were a little crazy, I admit. It's
one of those things you think you will have a
ton of time to do so many things, but uh, it never
happens, and it didn't this Christmas. But... I still had
a great Christmas! The pics should fill ya in a little.
Christmas break included:

Pizza rolls during finals week! (Me and Cis)


Spending New years with these two AMAZING
girls! Katie and Sarah. We spent NY in salt lake. We
went shopping,had fondue NY eve, got a really short
hair cut, and went to the Body World Exhibit. Can I just say
that it was so so awesome! Spending time with these two, and
seeingsuch a cool exhibit about the body was amazing. Being
a health major, I was even intrigued more with everything
that was in the exhibit. It was splendid. Loved it.


Spending time with my nephews! Of course, I
loved that too.


Making Gingerbread houses! Isn't my mom
so talented? I held the walls together... she did
the rest!


We also made candy trains. I helped Clay make
his, and he was eating the gumdrops off the top
right when we finished.


Seeing my good friend Rachelle come home from
her mission! She got back from Concepcion Chile
right before Christmas. It was so good to see her,
and now we are roommies!


Spending time at Ashley's, cutting her hair and
shopping. It probably sounds like I do a lot of shopping :)
I do.


After school started for winter semester, I took
a bunch of friends to Star Valley once again, and
we went on the horse drawn sleigh that dad made,
rode the horse around and went sledding. It was
super fun, and more fun because most of us didn't
have homework yet.
